    This is Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac. It’s Friday, July 26.

    Bill & Andy will appear at Curtains at 7 pm tonight. At 7:30 pm tonight, at the Woodbridge Middle School Theater, the Woodbridge Community Players are also putting on the play “The Prom.” There’s a show at 7:30 pm on Saturday, and a 2 pm Sunday matinée.

    Our Farmer’s Market continues from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday at Parker Press Park featuring a new farmer from Schieferstein Farm Market & Garden Center, and children’s musician “Bobby Beetcut” will be on stage there at 10 am.

    Tomorrow is also a 40-mile police-escorted motorcycle ride to benefit David’s Touch Foundation with registration and breakfast at the Woodbridge Brew Pub from 9 am to 11 am with kickstands-up at 11:15 am.

    On Sunday from 6 pm to 8 pm, T he Woodbridge Brew Pub , at 33 Main Street, has New York Met pitcher Jose Quintana signing autographs.

    The Mayor’s Summer Concert Series continues tonight with “Nine Deez Night” at Parker Press Park, followed by “Wichita Lineman” on Sunday; “Bobby Wilson” on Monday and “Best of the Eagles” on Tuesday — all shows are at Woodbridge High School.

    The “Honey Island Swamp Band” will appear on Wednesday at Parker Press; “Blame it on Richie” on Thursday at Rankin Park in Sewaren; and “Flying Ivories” on Friday at Parker Press. All shows begin at 7:30 pm.

    The Colonia Library has the Chess Club at 4:30 pm on Monday, and the Main Library has “Step Into Nature: A Beginner’s Guide to Hiking” at 7 pm on Tuesday. For all programs and services, visit the Woodbridge Library website.

    Our rescheduled Pizza Run is Wednesday at Alvin P. Williams Park in Sewaren. It starts at 7 pm with registration beginning at 5:30 pm.

    Our Mobile Health Unit will be at the Evergreen Senior Center from 10 am to 1 pm on Monday and at Colonia Library from 1:30 to 3:30 pm on Monday. It will be at Five Branches Senior Center in Iselin from 9:30 am to 1 pm on Tuesday; at Maple Tree Senior Center from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm on Wednesday; at the Woodbridge Community Center from 9:30 am to 12 pm on Thursday; and at Warren Park from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm on Friday.

    Congratulations to the very Rev. William J. Smith, pastor of St. Anthony de Padua Roman Catholic Church in Port Reading and our Police Department Chaplain, upon his retirement this weekend.

    The Anchors Tiki Bar on Cliff Road in Sewaren will have its Grand Opening at 5 pm on Tuesday, July 30 with food trucks and live music.
