ARLINGTON COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — Arlington police arrested a man from Woodbridge who broke into someone’s home and demanded their car because he needed it “for military business.”

The Arlington County Police Department (ACPD) said officers responded to a breaking and entering report around 9:53 a.m. Wednesday in the 2900 block of S. Grant Street.

There, officers found out that a woman was inside her home when the man allegedly came in, showed her his military ID and demanded she give him her car. When she refused, the man left the area and tried to get into three other cars nearby.
