The Portland Trail Blazers and Moda Health have announced the lineup of towns for this year's Rip City Rally route. The annual joint partnership aimed at connecting with Oregonians to highlight the Trail Blazers and share Moda Health's message of commitment to building healthy communities is in its 10th year and will visit five locales throughout western Oregon.

The Rally will take place from Sept. 16-20, closing the week in Woodburn at Legion Park on Sept. 20. Other stops throughout the week include Coos Bay, Florence, Toledo and Corvallis.

Representatives from the Trail Blazers and Moda Health will visit elementary, middle and high schools, engaging with students through P.E. activities, career panels and school assemblies. Each stop will finish with a community fair from 4 p.m.-6 p.m., where community members can participate in giveaways, games and further activities alongside mascots Blaze the Trail Cat and Douglas Fur, as well as Blazer Dancers.

Moda Health will have a booth at every community fair, sharing information and activities to promote healthy living, along with a raffle that can be entered to win an outdoor fun kit that features a cooler, travel speaker and a T-shirt. Members of Moda Health or Delta Dental of Oregon can present their physical or digital membership cards to receive a special gift.

A ceremonial ribbon cutting and gift presentation with city officials will take place prior to each community fair. Moda Health has also selected a youth-serving nonprofit partner in each city, promoting the organization at the fair and issuing a monetary donation.

The Rip City Rally has visited 37 communities since 2013, traversing over 5,400 miles across the entire state.
