Hoodview to host blood drive Friday

An American Red Cross blood drive is scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at Hoodview Church of God, 1530 Mount Hood Ave., Woodburn.

Hoodview Pastor Steve Kufeldt said this blood drive comes at a crucial time as blood donations are currently in great need. To illustrate this, the pastor noted that someone in the U.S. needs blood every two seconds.
