With main route into town reopened, Correctionville begins road to recovery
CORRECTIONVILLE, Iowa — Once U.S. Highway 20 reopened at Correctionville just before noon Wednesday, the town was officially reopened to nonresidents. They soon showed up, bringing donations of food, clothing, baby items, toiletries and much-needed cleaning supplies for residents who have been fighting flooding from the Little Sioux River since early Sunday.
