    Pedestrian seriously injured after being pinned between 2 vehicles in Woodbury

    WOODBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — A 24-year-old man was taken to a hospital in serious condition on Wednesday after being pinned between two vehicles on the side of Route 132 in Woodbury.

    The man had parked his vehicle partially on the shoulder on the southbound side of Route 132 in Bethlehem when he was hit at about 12:20 p.m., according to state police.

    He was working at the rear bed of his 2016 Volvo VHD when a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport hit him and his Volvo.

    The man was pinned between the two vehicles and had to be extricated, according to state police. The other driver was also taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
