Gov. Glenn Youngkin issued an executive order last week to establish a “cell phone-free” education in Virginia’s K-12 public schools. What to know: Executive Order (EO) 33 directs the Virginia Department of Education to put into place a “robust public engagement effort” to develop age-appropriate restrictions or the elimination of cell phone use during class time.
