Mid-Atlantic Weather Alert: Expect Showers and Thunderstorms
Philadelphia, PA – The Mid-Atlantic region can expect generally quiet weather conditions through the weekend and into Monday. A weak disturbance could bring isolated showers or thunderstorms overnight to parts of eastern Maryland and Delaware. According to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, temperatures will be mild, with highs reaching the mid-80s across most areas. Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area closes river access due to high water levels
The National Park Service closed river access at the Delaware River Water Gap Recreation Area on Saturday due to high water levels. The access points will remain closed until river levels drop below 15 feet at the Montague gauge on the New Jersey side of the river, the park service said in a statement.
