KINGSTON – Mayor Steven Noble is pleased to announce that, as part of the City of Kingston’s participation in Ulster County’s Safe Start to Summer 2024 road safety campaign, the Kingston Police Department instituted two weeks of heightened traffic enforcement, and as a result, issued 153 tickets to motorists.
District Attorney Hoovler Announces Jury Trial Conviction in Maybrook Gun Case
Rudolph Davis Convicted of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree. Represents 40th Felony Gun Possession Conviction in Orange County in the Last Year. Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler announced that on Friday, July 12, 2024, Rudolph Davis, age 31, of Newburgh, was convicted after a jury trial in the Orange County Court of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, the sole charge against him. Davis faces up to fifteen (15) years in prison when he is scheduled to be sentenced on October 17, 2024. Davis was remanded back to the Orange County Jail without bail following the jury’s verdict.
