Tractor trailer catches fire on I-85
Firefighters from Piercetown and Hopewell responded to a tractor trailer fire Monday afternoon. The driver pulled the burning trailer into the southbound rest area along I-85 near the 23 mile marker. The trailer was loaded with chips and fruit juices. A QRV stood by as a precaution while firefighters extinguished blaze. (Photo by David Rogers)

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - It’s been nearly a year since southside Spartanburg’s Piggly Wiggly store closed. The move returned the southside community back to food desert status.
