1 dead after shooting at Lucky 7 corner store in Chester, Pa.
Police are investigating a fatal shooting at a corner store in Chester, Pa.Investigators say it happened just after 11 a.m. Tuesday on the 1100 block of Morton Avenue.Preliminary reports are that two people were arguing inside the Lucky 7 Store on the block.One of the individuals pulled out a gun and shot the other.The victim has not yet been identified.We're waiting for information on a possible suspect.

Doylestown Biotech Firm Gets Big Grant from Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation
DOYLESTOWN, PA—A local biotech company has received a $1.49 million grant from the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research to investigate the development of a drug that could help Parkinson’s patients. Kannalife Sciences Inc., which is located in the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center near the Doylestown Airport, specializes in developing small molecule therapeutics that target inflammation. The drug is currently in studies to examine its effectiveness in treating peripheral neuropathy induced by chemotherapy. Fox launched his foundation after being diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson’s in 1991. Since the foundation was created in 2000, it has raised more than $2 billion for research into the disease.
