POUGHKEEPSIE – Clinton Elementary School hosted the first competition of a new program titled Read the World: “Motivational Reading Program,” which was launched on January 26, 2024. The event was attended by Assemblyman Jonathan Jacobson, Pastor Michael A. Bell, Jr., Officer Kevin VanWanger and Officer Gary Beahan from the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department. City of Poughkeepsie Has Opened Both its Pools
POUGHKEEPSIE – The City of Poughkeepsie opened both of its pools today and began by dedicating the new pool house at Pulaski Park. Last year, Pulaski Pool was closed due to the construction of the pool house. The new facility includes a men’s room, women’s room, family bathrooms, lifeguard room, office welcome desk, and storage and kitchen areas. Other upgrades were made to the pool area, including a new splash pad.

POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – Marist head men's basketball coach John Dunne has announced the addition of eight new players to the program for the 2024-25 season. The Red Foxes' newest additions at the guard positions are Martin Kawa, Elijah Lewis, Caleb Mackrey, Travis Roberts, Jagger Bascombe, and Antoni Vlogianitis.
