Former officer sentenced in death of Eau Claire man
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) - A former Superior police was sentenced today following a drunk driving incident that killed an Eau Claire man and his baby in 2022. Court documents show that on July 17, 44-year-old Gregory Swanson was sentenced to five years in prison and five years extended supervision for each of two counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle. These sentences are to be served concurrently.

Cohasset, Minn. (FOX 9) - A Duluth-based electric utility company says it uncovered a leak that sent coal wastewater into a lake in central Minnesota. Charges: Woman and her boyfriend shot teenage girl
ST PAUL, Minn — An adult woman and her boyfriend have been charged for shooting a teenage girl in St. Paul on Saturday. The Bloomington Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public in identifying a suspect involved in a hit-and-run incident. The collision, which left an unoccupied vehicle damaged, transpired on the 5th of July, 2024, at the Mall of America east ramp at around 10:50 PM.
