Several firefighters hurt battling Cedar Rapids house fire, all expected to recover
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Several firefighters were taken to a local hospital Saturday night after suffering minor injuries and burns battling a house fire in Cedar Rapids. First responders were called to a home in the 2900 block of Center Point Rd NE just before 9:15pm. WHen they arrived they could see smoke coming from several windows.
World War II aircraft flights, tours available in Dubuque
DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG) - The Commemorative Air Force is offering flights and tours of several World War II aircraft at the Dubuque Regional Airport. One of the aircraft on display is the B-29 Super-fortress “FIFI.” It’s one of the last two of its kind in operation, after nearly going extinct.
