UAM football goes 8th in poll
The University of Arkansas at Monticello is picked to finish eighth in the Great American Conference football standings for 2024. The result would be one notch higher than the Boll Weevils' 2023 finish. UAM went 2-9 overall and in conference play, winning its first two games over Northwestern Oklahoma State and Southwestern Oklahoma State but losing the remaining nine. Two of the defeats were decided by 7 or fewer points, including a 22-21 decision at Southeastern Oklahoma State on the final play of the game.
