Jury finds Villager guilty of domestic battery
A Hot Springs Village man received a jail sentence and $2,500 fine for domestic battery on Tuesday, July 30 after a two-day Garland County Circuit Court jury trial. Gavin Arthur Kelsey, 39, had faced a felony charge of aggravated assault for allegedly attacking a girlfriend on Feb. 15, 2023. Courthouse records say that the victim’s doorbell camera recorded him approaching her home with a bottle of alcohol in hand and a semi-automatic Smith & Wesson pistol tucked in his front waistband at 11:29 p.m. Feb. 15, 2023.
