Clay County improves to 2-0 with 42-6 win over Harlan
MANCHESTER — The Clay County Tigers are off and running, improving to 2-0 on the season with a 42-6 win over Harlan. The Tigers are now 4-0 all-time against the Green Dragons, who fell to 0-1 on the season. Clay County has now outscored its opponents 98-20 this season.
Fort Campbell signs agreements with Christian, Todd counties
Fort Campbell recently entered into three Intergovernmental Support Agreements with officials in Christian and Todd counties. According to a news release, one of those was the renewal of an existing agreement with the City of Hopkinsville from a five-year term—which was expiring—to a new extended 10-year agreement providing for a partnership in bulk salt purchasing that’s used to during winter weather conditions. This allows both parties to purchase bulk salt in greater quantities at a lower cost. By renewing and extending to a 10-year agreement, a 10 percent cost savings for all parties involved is anticipated.
