Summertime and the eatin' is easy

WORCESTER — Worcester Public Schools is again hosting a free program sponsored by the state Department of Education that provides free meals to children and teens at various locations throughout the city this summer.

There are currently nine meal service sites available: the Burncoat Street Playground, East Park, El Buen Samaritano Food Program, Greenwood Park, Logan Field, South Worcester Playground, TLK Sports, the YMCA Central Community Branch and the YMCA Greendale.

Meals are available to eat onsite. The WPS mobile nutrition vehicles will also make stops at various locations throughout the city, offering meals Monday through Friday.

Summer Eats is a free program across Massachusetts during the summer months.
