    WORCESTER ― The Fourth of July has come and gone, but if you missed the fireworks, you're in luck. There are still a number of fireworks shows happening throughout the rest of the summer.

    As a reminder, fireworks are illegal in Massachusetts without a permit and certification including sparklers. It's best to leave fireworks to the professionals.

    Here is where you can catch a fireworks show this summer in Central Massachusetts:

    July 5

    • Worcester: Polar Park, following 6:45 p.m. WooSox game

    July 6

    July 7

    • Oakham: 9:30 p.m., Barge on Lake Dean, 203 Bechan Road (Rain date: July 13)

    July 12

    • Worcester: Polar Park, following 6:45 p.m. WooSox game
    • Worcester: Fitton Field, following 6:30 p.m. Worcester Bravehearts game

    July 13

    • Clinton: 9 p.m., Clinton Middle/High Schools, Veterans Field Complex.

    July 19

    • Worcester: Fitton Field, following 6:30 p.m. Worcester Bravehearts game

    July 20

    • Northbridge: 9 p.m., Lasell Field, 171 Linwood Ave. (Rain date: July 21)

    Aug. 2, Aug. 16, Aug. 30, Sept. 13

    • Worcester: Polar Park, following 6:45 p.m. WooSox game
