    Lightning strike causes house fire in Auburn

    AUBURN — A house on Pakachoag Street was damaged by fire after being hit by lightning Thursday afternoon, authorities said.

    There were no reported injuries.

    Flames filled a section of the attic when crews arrived, about 5 p.m., at 207 Pakachoag St.

    The initial investigation showed that the house was hit by lightning, according to the Fire Department.
