USA Today released list of country's best corn mazes, including this MA location

USA Today's 10 Best Readers' Choice Awards just released its best of fall rankings, and one Massachusetts location ranked among the best corn mazes in the country.

The annual awards highlight the best in travel, food and lifestyle, and winners are chosen by a public voting poll after being nominated by industry experts.

In the 2024 best of fall awards, ranking fall attractions across the United States in a variety of categories, Davis Mega Maze in Sterling won eighth place for best corn mazes.

What to do at Davis Mega Maze

The Davis Mega Maze is 8 acres and 3 miles of puzzling fun filled with various mini-games. This year, the maze's theme is "Wonka's Sweet Adventure." The main path in the middle of the maze is shaped like a giant golden ticket, and other design elements include pieces of candy and Willy Wonka's signature hat. Depending on the chosen level of intensity, this maze can take anywhere from 30 minutes to three hours.

Davis' maze is only one part of a mega farm festival with over 50 attractions , including paintball, a zipline, a petting farm, giant tube slides, fire pits and human foosball. Daily live music can be enjoyed with a craft beer , hard cider or flight of alcoholic slushies. Outrageous fair foods like apple cider glazed turkey legs, gourmet fried dough and loaded waffles are also available for purchase.

How to visit Davis Mega Maze

This mega maze is open on weekends from Sept. 28 through Oct. 27. Saturday's hours are 11:30 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sunday's are 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

Adult tickets cost $24.95 online or $29.95 at the gate, and children's tickets for ages 5-12 cost $21.95 online or $25.95 at the gate.

Davis Mega Maze is located at 142 Redstone Hill in Sterling, MA.
