    Stephen Nedoroscik has seen the memes online comparing him to Clark Kent, and last night he responded with a Superman-inspired performance on "Dancing with the Stars."

    The Olympic bronze medalist from Worcester danced in the show's second round of competition after there was no elimination during last week's premiere.

    This week, the stars each performed to a song from a popular Hollywood film for the show's Oscars Night .

    Nedoroscik and his pro partner Rylee Arnold danced a paso doble to a "Superman" classic, and came out with one of the top scores of the night.

    Stephen Nedoroscik and his partner Rylee Arnold danced a paso doble to “Superman - Main Theme” by John Williams for Oscars Night on "Dancing with the Stars" last night.

    It was a clear fit for the two-time bronze medalist, who went viral during the 2024 Paris Olympics for his calm focus on the sidelines as he waited to compete in his signature pommel horse.

    "Out of the Olympics, everyone said I was a Clark Kent," Nedoroscik said. "I was sitting there meditating. I took my glasses off, killed it, came out with bronze, and people started calling me Superman. I would never have been here if it weren't for that meme."

    After his performance, Nedoroscik said his meditiation technique for major gymnastics events can be helpful in the ballroom and beyond.

    "I think it gives anybody an advantage anywhere, just learning how to control your heart rate, calming yourself down in situations, I think that that is just advantageous," Nedoroscik said.

    Stephen Nedoroscik scored a 22/30 for his paso doble on "Dancing with the Stars" last night, earning an eight out of ten from Carrie Ann Inaba and sevens out of ten from Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli.

    Combined with his first week's scores, Nedoroscik's total for the night came to 43/60. He placed third overall among all the couples, tying with "Bachelor" star Joey Graziadei.

    Last night's episode of "Dancing with the Stars" ended with a double elimination, and former scammer Anna Delvey and actress Tori Spelling were sent home.

    The elimination was decided by a combination of the first two week's judges scores as well as viewer voting.

    "Dancing with the Stars" airs on Tuesday nights live on ABC and Disney+. It is also available for next-day streaming on Hulu.

    Stephen Nedoroscik is an Olympic gymnast from Worcester who is competing on this season of "Dancing with the Stars." He began his training at Sterling Academy of Gymnastics .

    He won two bronze medals at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, including one in the team all-around event and one in his specialty, pommel horse.

    The 25-year-old went viral online during the Olympics for his pre-competition meditation ritual, which propelled him into stardom.
