While Six Flags New England is known for its exciting roller coasters, nighttime during September and October turns those thrills into frights with one of the region's biggest Halloween-themed events.

Back for its 24th season in New England, Fright Fest at Six Flags combines haunted walkthroughs, frightful attractions and live spooky entertainment into a Halloween spectacular guaranteed to scare even the most daring of souls. This year, the theme park is making Fright Fest scarier than ever with multiple new additions, including a Halloween musical about influencers on TikTok and a murderous summer camp-themed haunted maze.

Here's to know about how to attend Fright Fest this spooky season.

    Attractions at Fright Fest

    Rides

After the sun goes down, guests can enjoy their favorite thrill rides with a spooky twist: total darkness. Rides such as Gotham City Gauntlet: Escape from Arkham Asylum and Terror Twist are the perfect attractions to get you in the Halloween spirit.

    Scare Zones

During Fright Fest, the different areas of the park become scare zones, themed outlets where guests must face off with creatures like zombies, demons, killer scarecrows, and spirits in order to walk through. This year's scare zones include the Demon District, the terrifying village of Slaughter Hollow and CarnEvil, a haunted twist on a circus filled with creepy clowns.

    Shows

Spooky spectaculars with a variety of talents will keep you entertained at Fright Fest. The lineup of shows for 2024 include Midnight Uprising, a dance and lighting show in a graveyard, Love at First Fright, a family-friendly monster musical and Creepshow Freakshow, a thrilling danger act with sword swallowing and fire breathing.

    Haunted Mazes

The mazes are the only part of Fright Fest that are not included with regular admission. Haunted maze passes must be bought in addition.
