From Iowa To Texas: The Incredible Ride Honoring WASP of WWII
The National Women Air Force Service Pilots (WASP) WWII Museum in Sweetwater, Texas, is preparing to honor veteran and avid cyclist Larry Ritland as he embarks on his "WASP Legacy Ride." This remarkable journey, set to take place from September 1 to 28, 2024, will see Ritland cycle from Iowa to Texas in tribute to the Women Airforce Service Pilots of World War II. Ritland is a Vietnam veteran and is a proud 42-year member of the American Legion.

A Big 4 Fair Facebook post on Friday (08.16) afternoon asked, “Where do you even begin?
