Neal Brown is 'really impressed' with his new starting cornerbacks
West Virginia University lots their top two corners from last season in Beanie Bishop and Malachi Ruffin. The pair exhausted their eligibility, with Bishop earning Consensus All-American status and is now in line for a starting job in the NFL as a rookie. The two played over 90-percent of the snaps at the two cornerback spots, leaving a lack of experience for the rest of the roster. Thus, the Mountaineers went out and added half a dozen defensive backs via the transfer portal. Already, though, there are two guys that have gotten a leg up at the position, impressing the coaching staff with their abilities and staking their claim to the two starting spots - Garnett Hollis and Ayden Garnes. Head Coach Neal Brown discusses that in the video above. Check it out.
