WVU Football Recruiting: A summer rollercoaster ride from seven to 22 commitments
Looking back at WVU Football's journey from seven verbal commitments to 22 in the Class of 2025. West Virginia University had themselves quite a summer on the football recruiting trail. The Mountaineers hosted 41 high school recruits from the Class of 2025 on official visits, and hundreds more for unofficial visits, camps, barbecues and more. The end result was a rather exciting few weeks that saw the Mountaineers get as high as No. 18 in the 247Sports rankings, and culminated with a low-key commitment from the always-quiet Brandon Caesar over the weekend.
2025 guard CJ Shaw has West Virginia in top grouping
