    KANAWHA COUNTY, WV (WOWK) — Metro 911 is sharing photos of their newest employee: Pip.

    According to Metro 911’s Facebook page, Pip will be the dispatch center’s “emotional support hero.”

    “Pip will be providing comfort, support, and a warm wagging tail to our dedicated team who work tirelessly to keep our community safe,” Metro 911 said. “In high-pressure moments and long shifts, Pip is always by our sides offering a soothing presence. He not only brings smiles and a sense of calm to our chaos, but strengthens our dispatcher’s resilience and well-being.”

    The agency and the puppy were paired up by the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Associated. Pip was trained by the trainers at Follow Our Lead, according to the Facebook post.
