Minor arrested in deadly Gallia County shooting, victim identified

UPDATE (10:19 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 9): A juvenile was arrested in the deadly shooting of a 20-year-old West Virginia man in Gallia County.

According to the Gallia County Sheriff’s Office, the juvenile was arrested in Cross Lanes. The victim has been identified as Kyle Foltz, 20, of Mathias.

GREEN TOWNSHIP, OHIO (WOWK) — A shooting is under investigation in Gallia County.

Sheriff Matt Champin says that it happened at an apartment complex on Sun Valley Drive in Green Township Thursday night.

When crews got on the scene they found one person wounded. That person was taken to the hospital. Their condition is not known at this time.

At this time no one is in custody.
