Logan Tractor Supply offers tasty treats for pets

LOGAN, WV (WOWK) – The Tractor Supply Company in Logan is holding a pet treat tasting event for dogs on the second Saturday of each month.

Dogs and their owners may come in from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to try some of the 4-H Health dog treats free of charge. The staff said that they host events like this one to get to know the animals that come in and to know the customers.

“We have a really big pet business and pet food here. So we have a variety of treats, toys, leashes, collars, bowls, even flea and tick medicine,” Taylor Daugherty, the manager, said.

The pet treat tastings are ongoing, so the staff encourages owners to bring in their animals. The store is currently planning an adoption event with a local shelter on Aug. 24, and they are accepting donations.
