New app helps Kanawha County parents keep up with school buses

KANAWHA COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – For an extra sense of security, there’s a new tool in the Kanawha County Schools system.

The “Zonar MyView App” allows parents and guardians to track their students once they board the school bus. It works in real-time as the Transportation Office sends messages through the app to give easy updates directly to parents’ and guardians’ devices.

The app can also be customized so that when the bus reaches a certain spot away from their home, the parent or guardian can get a notification.
