Person taken to hospital in Kanawha County crash

KANAWHA COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – One person has been taken to the hospital after a crash in the Mink Shoals area.

According to Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers, the call for the single-vehicle crash first came in just after 12:15 p.m. Thursday. It happened in the 2900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue B in Mink Shoals.

Dispatchers say the vehicle rolled over and landed on its top. There is no word at this time on what caused the crash or on the extent of the person’s injuries.

According to dispatchers, the crash closed the southbound lane of Pennsylvania Avenue.

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority and Pinch Volunteer Fire Department responded.
