Pedestrian hit, driver takes off from scene

HUNTINGTON, WV (WOWK) — A pedestrian was taken to the hospital Friday night after dispatchers say they were hit by a driver.

The driver took off from the scene.

Cabell County Dispathers say the incident happened in Huntington at 16th St. and Ninth Ave. at 11 p.m..

The original caller said that the person was driving a Silver Ford 150. However Huntington Police are still investigating and trying to find the driver.

The condition of the person hit isn’t known at this time.
