CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK)– The Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.)is hosting the Wild and Wonderful H.O.G. Rally in Charleston this weekend.

The rally started Wednesday and will continue until Saturday.

The last time a H.O.G. event was hosted in West Virginia was 13 years ago, and about 300 people attended. This rally is expecting 1,100 people across 36 states, plus Washington D.C and Canada.

There are around 20 routes for participants to ride, including ones to include the Tri-State area.

Some of the rides have a historical basis, like the Hatfield-McCoy Route, or the Battle of Blair Mountain. Others hit popular tourist destinations like New River Gorge or the Mothman Museum.

Participants can also sign up for guided group rides.

For many participants, the best part of rallies are getting to meet and interact with other members of the Harley Community.

For anyone who wants to join, registration is open at the Beni Kedem Temple on Quarrier St. in downtown Charleston.
