1 injured in Kanawha County motorcycle crash

SISSONVILLE, WV (WOWK) – One person was taken to the hospital after a motorcycle crash in Kanawha County.

According to Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers, the crash happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday in the 8600 block of Sissonville Drive in Sissonville. The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash, dispatchers say.

There is no word on the condition of the person taken to the hospital.

The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority and Sissonville Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene. Dispatchers say the roadway was temporarily closed, but has since reopened.
