    Road reopened after Alum Creek crash

    UPDATE (7:59 p.m. on August 27, 2024) — Greenview Road has reopened after responders were able to clear the vehicle crash, according to Metro 911. One person refused treatment at the scene.


    KANAWHA COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – A road in Kanawha County is shut down due to a vehicle crash.

    According to Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers, the crash happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 3600 block of Greenview Road in Alum Creek. Dispatchers say the vehicle had rolled onto its top and had caught fire.

    There is no word at this time if anyone was injured in the crash.

    The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, Alum Creek and Davis Creek Volunteer Fire Departments and the Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority are responding.
