    St. Albans man indicted on grand larceny charge

    KANAWHA COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – A man accused of breaking into a St. Albans business last year has been indicted by a Kanawha County grand jury.

    According to Kanawha County Circuit Court records, Donald C. Schaible, 41, of St. Albans was indicted on charges of breaking and entering and grand larceny.

    In January 2023, Schaible was arrested for allegedly stealing tools from Peerless Block and brick on Oliver Street in St. Albans. The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office said at the time that when they arrived at the scene, they found Schaible allegedly in possession of tools.

    According to the sheriff’s office, Schaible allegedly admitted to stealing the tools from a utility trailer on the property.
