Road reopens crash near Ripley

UPDATE: (7:30 P.M. Friday, Aug. 30) – Jackson County 911 dispatchers say Ripley Road has reopened after a crash this afternoon.

WOWK 13 News is still working to learn more details of the crash.

JACKSON COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – Crews are on the scene of a vehicle crash in Jackson County.

According to Jackson County 911 dispatchers, the crash happened in the 1700 block of Ripley Road, also known as Route 62, near Ripley Friday afternoon. Dispatchers say two vehicles are involved.

There is no word yet on any injuries or how many people were involved in the crash.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and the Ripley and Cottageville fire departments are responding to the scene.
