    $157,000 worth of equipment and copper stolen in Logan County

    LOGAN COUNTY, WV (WOWK) — West Virginia State Police (WVSP) are looking for suspects that stole around $157,000 in commercial equipment and copper in Logan County Tuesday.

    According to a WVSP release, troopers responded to a report of grand larceny off Blair Mountain Highway near Kelly Hollow Road where the victims, Tren Services, Inc. and Arch Resources, Inc., said unknown suspect(s) stole “a white and orange in color, 2011 Bobcat 325G excavator, a blue in color, Miller welder, a 14-foot black in color BigTex flatbed trailer with a wooden deck, and approximately $100,000.00 in copper.”

    The equipment belongs to Tren Services while the copper is owned by Arch Resources. The total amount stolen is believed to be worth around $157,000.
