Annual Vinton County Airshow soars back to Ohio

Vinton County, OH (WOWK) – It’s almost time once again to look to the skies in Vinton County for their annual airshow!

The event is set for 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, at the Vinton County Airport. The show itself starts at 1 p.m.

Organizers say the event will feature several acrobatic performances, airplane candy drops for the kids, remote-control planes and jets and even a Santa Claus skydiver! The airshow will also be bringing back its annual chicken dinner during the event.

According to event organizers, there is a $10 parking donation to attend the event, and ticket sales for the chicken dinner will begin at 10:30 a.m. the day of the event.
