    One arrested, equipment returned in Logan County theft

    LOGAN COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – One person is facing charges and another person is still wanted in connection to an equipment theft in Logan County.

    West Virginia State Police say they arrested one suspect in the case. The suspects are accused of stealing around $157,000 in commercial equipment and copper in Logan County on Tuesday.

    The WVSP says the items were stolen from Tren Services, Inc. and Arch Resources, Inc., and include “a white and orange in color, 2011 Bobcat 325G excavator, a blue in color, Miller welder, a 14-foot black in color BigTex flatbed trailer with a wooden deck, and approximately $100,000.00 in copper.”

    Police say the excavator, the welder and the trailer have been returned to their rightful owners.
