KANAWHA COUNTY, WV (WOWK) — There will be an increased presence of law enforcement in three Kanawha County schools Wednesday after a reported threat was made.

According to a Kanawha County Schools spokesperson, extra law enforcement has been pledged to Capital High School, Ben Franklin Career Center and Carver Career Center as a precaution.

Local law enforcement was made aware of a possible threat circulating Tuesday, though there has been no direct source or substantiation found at this time.
