Crews fighting brush fire in Cabell County

CABELL COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – Crews are on the scene of a brush fire in Cabell County.

According to Cabell County 911 dispatchers, the call came in around 12:07 p.m. Friday for a brush fire in the 3300 block of McComas Road in the Salt Rock area.

Dispatchers say the road is currently closed at the scene.

There is no word at this time as to what caused the fire or if anyone was hurt.

The Barboursville, Green Valley and Salt Rock fire departments are responding with mutual aid from Lincoln County.
