    Abandoned train trestle on Charleston’s West Side catches on fire

    CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) — An abandoned train trestle on Charleston’s West Side caught on fire just before midnight on Sunday.

    The trestle crosses over Grant Street on Charleston’s West Side near Mary C. Snow Elementary School.

    Charleston firefighters used multiple engines and a ladder truck to help get the flames under control.

    No injuries or damage to nearby structures was reported.

    That must be the railroad trestle bridge at that school that leads over to kanawha city except how did it caught fire? Well yeah that bridge needs to be torn down and it was there far too long
