CALHOUN COUNTY, WV (WOWK) — A car crashed into a pond on Route 16 near Arnoldsburg on Wednesday morning, according to Calhoun County 911.

They say the crash happened around 8:25 a.m.

Officials say Route 16 was closed between US-119 and Crummies Creek for a few hours. It has since reopened.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department, the Arnoldsburg Volunteer Fire Department, Upper West Fork VFD, EMS from Minnie Hamilton Hospital, and the West Falls Wrecker Service responded, according to 911 officials.
