CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) — Employment opportunities are expanding across West Virginia with accessibility in mind.

On Wednesday, community members were welcomed to an open house put on by the Association of Rehabilitation Facilities to teach about jobs and programs available to those with disabilities. The West Virginia Association of Disability Employers also took part.

“Meet with individual disabilities in their families and we try to help them and match them with jobs that meet their interests and will meet the business’s interests as well. So, it’s a win-win for both the employer and the person with disability,” CEO of Job Squad Incorporated Travis Kline said.

Community open houses were held all across West Virginia, from the capital city to the eastern panhandle.
