CABELL COUNTY, WV (WOWK) — A man was sentenced to five years in prison after police said he fired shots in a Huntington neighborhood in 2023.

Kyle Clay was sentenced to five years on a wanton endangerment charge, and all other counts in his indictment were dropped, according to the Cabell County Circuit Clerk’s Office.

The circuit clerk’s office said he will get credit for the 77 days he has served in custody.

The shots fired happened in April 2023. Huntington Police at the time said it happened at the corner of West 11th Street and Madison Avenue.

No one was injured in the incident, according to police.
