Disney on Ice to bring ‘Frozen, Encanto’ to Charleston in 2025

CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) – Disney on Ice is returning to West Virginia’s Capitol City this winter!

The performances will skate into Charleston in February 2025 at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center. The show features a presentation of the modern Disney classics, “Frozen” and “Encanto.” Disney on Ice organizer, Feld Entertainment, says the show is designed to “embrace the magic of family” and spark imaginations.

The magic begins on Thursday, Feb. 20, and runs through Sunday, Feb. 23 with a total of eight performances. The schedule includes:

• Thursday, Feb. 20 – 7 p.m.
• Friday, Feb. 21 – 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.
• Saturday, Feb. 22 – 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
• Sunday, Feb. 23 – 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Tickets for the event are available at Ticketmaster.com or at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center Box Office.

According to Feld Entertainment, the show begins with the beloved snowman Olaf telling the story of “Frozen.” After that adventure, the performers and audience will journey to a small mountain town in Columbia where Mirabel shares the story of the Madrigal family in “Encanto.”

Along with the casts of “Frozen” and “Encanto,” the audiences will also see some favorite Disney characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and more!
