Chief Logan Elk Management Tours

(WOWK) – West Virginia is a hotspot for outdoor tourism, and one of the newest additions to the industry is the Chief Logan Elk Management Tour.

The tours take roughly five hours, and are offered at 4pm Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, and 5:30 am on Saturday and Sunday. Morning tours start early September and continue until the second to last week of October. For more information click here .

The morning tour tends to find more elk due to the cooler morning temperatures, but the elk can be spotted at both times.

On this tour you’ll be taken to the reserve where the elk roam freely. While there is no guarantee that you’ll spot an elk, you will still catch a breathtaking sunrise or sunset depending on which tour you traveled with.
