Philadelphia authorities have captured three individuals believed to be part of a theft ring dubbed the 'Diaper Crew,' implicated in an array of retail thefts throughout the city. According to FOX 29, this group has been targeting Family Dollar, Dollar General, and Rite Aid stores, using oversized bags to illegally haul out various items, among them diapers, batteries, and coffee. Application window opens soon for new Cumberland County affordable housing community
A little over a year ago, a Cumberland County nonprofit broke ground on an $18.1 million affordable housing project. Carlisle-based Safe Harbour broke ground on Harbour Village in 2024 on five acres of vacant land in South Middleton Township, bordering the borough of Carlisle near the Carlisle United Methodist Church on South Spring Garden Street.
