Bryant baseball wins America East Tournament, clinching NCAA Tournament berth for first time since 2016

VESTAL, N.Y. (WPRI) — The Bryant baseball team continued their impressive year on the diamond, winning the America East Tournament on Saturday, defeating UMBC by a final of 15-10. The Bulldogs have clinched an automatic bid in the D1 NCAA Tournament, a first since 2016.

It was a tied at 10 in the 8th inning, when Bryant exploded for five runs, putting the game away.

Bryant currently holds a 36-19 record, and the Bulldogs won the regular season title in the conference as well.

Their first game and opponent in the NCAA Tournament is still unknown.
